Istanbul, Turkey - At least 22 people in an apparent suicide bomb attack in central Istanbul on Sunday were injured, police said. In a dozen police officers were wounded and 12 civilians in the attack on Taksim Square, police said the police. Two policemen were injured in a critical condition, said police chief Huseyin Capkin Istanbul. The course is a busy shopping area's largest network of transport, including buses, subways and taxis.
